Poris and Associates is a consulting firm and strategic partner, established in 2006, focused on providing solutions and training to drive continuous improvement and profitability of our clients.

We specialize in working with companies experiencing significant issues in quality or delivery. We help them resolve these issues by quantifying and describing the issues, evaluating the relevant processes, collaborating with them to develop action plans, and helping them implement those plans. We can act as interim Engineering or Quality management, or simply as "Consultants".

Our scope of work includes internal issues (including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Product Development Processes), Supplier issues, and Customer Quality issues. As part of this process, we offer project consulting services as well as training in a wide range of Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing disciplines, and across many different technologies and industries. Our founder, John Poris, is multi-lingual - fluent in English, Portuguese, and Hebrew, and conversant in Spanish - and has worked all over the world.

A large proportion of our work is in the Automotive arena, where we frequently help companies avoid "Third-Party" interventions imposed by their OEM customers. These "interventions" are prohibitively expensive and "painful", and we are dedicated to helping you avoid being subjected to them.

We believe it is MUCH better to be pro-active, and resolve the issues before spending potentially millions of dollars on Third-Party solutions, audits, and extensive OEM oversight. You will find us to be easy to work with, hard-working and committed to your success.

While other consulting firms frequently look for reasons to be with you indefinitely, our focus is on helping you get to where you need to be, then saying "au revoir". Our philosophy is to help you resolve your issues, improve your processes to avoid recurrence, and then get out of your hair. We have the resources to enable us to focus on all aspects of your issues, whether small or large, and can provide you with anything from evaluation only to full service solutions.
